WESMAR Thrusters On One of World's Busiest Ferry Routes

Four Model V2-12-23 HP DC Pro thrusters are installed on two 98 foot catamarans, built for the Brazilian highway and ferry crossings department. They are used to transport cars and passengers for short crossing between Santos and Guaruja in the coast region of the State of Sao Paulo. It is a busy, yet short harbour shuttle linking the island of Guaruja to the Port of Santos, carrying about 28,000 vehicles and 13,000 bicycles daily. The route is one of the world's busiest ferry routes.
